They say 25% of people end up in the same career as their parents. Despite my teenage ambitions, I became one of them.

Growing up in South Dakota, my dad ran a cleaning business for nearly 40 years. Summers were spent working alongside him—cleaning carpets and floors—though I swore I’d never follow in his footsteps.

After moving to Montana in 2004, I worked various jobs, often related to carpet cleaning but never in the field itself. In 2010, I became the operations manager at a local cleaning company, handling office work and sales. Three years later, the owner offered me the chance to buy the business, and despite my past resistance, I took the leap.

Ironically, the work I once dreaded became something I genuinely enjoyed. Over the years, I’ve accumulated 1,100+ hours of classroom training, the equivalent of a Master’s Degree in professional floor cleaning, along with hands-on experience in homes and businesses throughout Billings.

Looking back, I realize my dad wasn’t just teaching me to clean floors—he was teaching me integrity, customer service, and trust. That lesson has stayed with me. I’m not just in the floor cleaning business—I’m in the trust business. My clients rely on me to enter their homes, apply my expertise, and deliver the highest quality clean.

Since purchasing the carpet cleaning division of Faithful Cleaning & Restoration in 2013, I’ve been proud to serve Billings. I’ve lived here with my wife of 24 years and our two daughters since 2004, and I look forward to continuing to help homeowners and businesses maintain beautiful, clean floors for years to come.
